Japan’s Ryota Murata edged a close final against Brazil’s Esquiva Falcao Florentino 14-13 to win Middle Weight gold on an action-packed night at the ExCeL.Murata was seeded second in the draw, with Ffree chess lichesslorentino fourth, and the bout was as close as may english chesshave been expected fchess royalrom two of the medal favourites.
